Three Months Old Today! ! !

Liam is 3 whole months can you believe it? Nothing really new to note... Missing you all! Chris got home at 8:30 this morning! Lots of overtime but he slept much of the day and then just now he got a call saying he has court tomorrow on his other day off. Totally lame. Liam still sounds stuffed up, but it is funny because it sounds like he is purring. He has just started noticing Xena and yesterday he laughed when he saw her tail wagging. Xena has a new "game" where she tries to lick his face before we can stop her. Right now the score is about 10-1 with her in the lead. So my dad goes back down to UCLA medical center Wednesday to get the all clear. He is really hoping he is allowed to go back to running already. Speaking of surgeryI can hardly believe that only a year ago (Nov. 10th) I had surgery in the hopes of curing my infertility and praise God was pregnant one month later. Chris BBQ'd me a mushroom cheeseburger and I made banana bread. Yummy. Well that is all for now.

Waaaaaahhhhhh ! ! ! !

Grandmalinda and Granpa B are on their way back home and we miss them already. This picture of Liam grinning is when his Grandpa was talking to him; he looooves his Grandpa's voice and would seek him out. Right now Liam is watching football (seriously), and he is the best baby. Yesterday we took a road trip. We ate at a really good spaghetti restaurant and he fussed a little, but the restaurant was so loud no one noticed. The we walked around a historic old down town and then drove an hour home and Liam slept silently the whole time. He was sooooo good! Love you all, til later!

Today's Post is Sponsered by the Letter ZZZZZZZZ

I can't believe it but Liam slept through the night last night; six whole hours straight! It was so nice, I was literally in the process of dreaming that Liam slept 4 1/2 hours straight when he woke me up. It was pretty cool.
So Grandmalinda and Grandpa B are here and Liam has been all smiles for them! He still has the snuffles but he seems to feel just fine otherwise. Right now we are watching Charlie and the Chocolate factory, the new one. It is pretty good, very quirky! Well not much else to say. Tomorrow we are going up north, about an hours drive. We are going to look at our old houses that we used to live in (there are three to look at), and then go to the old town. It should be fun! Til later!

One More....

Can you look at this with out smiling? Now that is a happy baby!!!!!!

Ain't Technology Grand????

My little scan-the-pictures-so you-can-post-them thingy needed resetting and only Chris could do it and I was very impatient, but he fixed it for me!!!!! Whew, I am OK now, thanks to him! I am very attached to my digital camera right now.

Grandmalinda and Grandpa B will be here tomorrow, and we are so excited!!!! Grandpa hasn't seen our new house and last time they saw Liam he wasn't smiling soooo much. I've stocked my fridge with their favorite things, cleaned (well I am still cleaning) the house, washed the baby, mowed the yard, (OK, OK, that was Chris), and Chris is putting up my bathroom door!!! I will take lots of pictures of their visit to put on here.

Speaking of the camera, I dropped it on Liam's head today when I was trying to take his picture and it was so sad because he just blinked and looked at me like, "Well, what the heck did you do that for?" But my sweet angel baby did not cry. And speaking of crying last night Liam was just inconsolable for like, 45 minutes, Chris walks in the door, picks Liam up from my arms and of course, he is all laughs for Daddy!

Today's pictures, include various happy pictures of Liam, including a picture that proves he can sleep in any position, one of him cuddling with his sometimes foe--the bib, and one of my new favorites. I took that picture of the two of us with Liam in his little front carrier and did not know if he was even awake, then later when I looked at the pictures I noticed he was smiling right at the camera, so cute!!!! Finally the first one is of Liam helping me with the laundry.

Have you hugged your Marine today? It is the Marine Corps birthday today. I baked Chris a German Chocolate cake. Well, that will be all for now. Dave, was'up with Grandma's post? Hell hath no fury like a blogger scorned, come on!!!!! (I am so impatient, huh?)

Smooth Move, Ex-lax...

I dyed all of Chris's white work undershirts pink.... Mama C, you know that beautiful purple shirt you guys got me for my birthday?..... Yeah, enough said.

So Liam is still Mr. Snuffles, but he seems to have gotten used to it. Unfortunately Chris had to go into work today on his day off, but he is on his way home now. Want to hear something really funny? Chris and I didn't see each other much yesterday, yet over 80 miles away from each other, we both went to Subway and both ordered the exact same thing. You may think, huh, interesting coincindence, but let me tell you why it is pretty amazing. Since the day Subway opened it's doors, I ALWAYS get the spicy Italian BMT. And I hate it toasted. Yesterday we both got steak and cheeses toasted. So cool. I blame our psychic abilities on our socks. Yup, I said socks. I was collecting the laundry and Chris threw the socks he had been wearing onto the top of the load I was carrying. I started laughing, Chris thought it was because his white socks were mismatched, "I know, I know, the smaller one really sucked because it didn't go up high enough in my boot." I still laughed, "Chris," I snorted, "that is because it is mine!" (He wears a men's 12, I a womens 8 which is the same as a men's 6.) Not that funny, I am sure Chris was thinking, after all they are both white. "Look at my feet!!!!!" I choked out. I had the matching one one of my socks on and his---floppy on my foot, missing sock! Hmmm...maybe you had to be there....

I am such a klutz today! I was sitting by the window and noticed a fly buzzing behind the blinds. So I get the brilliant idea to swat the blinds into the window in an attempt kill said fly. The blinds hit the window, bounced back, smacked into and then knocked my full glass, off the ledge. Oh, don't worry, the window and the drinking glass didn't break....the bowl the glass landed on did though! And the sugary drink I had in the glass went EVERYWHERE. Including onto Liam, his chair, my chair, the floor and the walls. That was fun. As I cleaned it, the very much alive, fly landed on my spilled mess. Sigh. Oh well.

Dave, I am still waiting for the Grandma post you PROMISED ME!!!!!!!! Don't let me down :)

PS. Note to self: Trying to wash Liam in the shower, just because it has a removeable nozzle was not a good idea, trust me.

Welcome Great-Grandma C ! ! !

Great Grandma C has arrived down south for a visit and we can't wait to see her! When I say she is a great grandma, I mean it!
Liam is doing better today. He slept for 11 hours! I had to wake him up several times to feed him and now he is ready to play, play, play. Daddy is off from work tomorrow, just in time to have some fun with the no longer fussy, little guy. Liam's new favorite toy is his right hand and boy does he love it! Also, now that Mr Drooling-fool, wears a bib much of the time, he does this thing that makes me laugh so hard: when he stretches, and throws his arms over his head (he's growing-Mama), the bib covers his face and he yells, "Aaaaahhhhh!" and shakes his head back and forth every time like it is attacking him. One time I was in the other room, heard the telltale "AAAAHHHH!"" and I came running, but this time he had bit the bib and it looked like he was attacking it!!! Unfortunately it seemed the bib was still winning!
Last night Grandmalinda and Grandpa B went to her sister and bro-in laws 45th surprise wedding party. We can't wait to hear how it went. Were they indeed surprised or did someone spill the beans? They have five children and 2 grand kids I would be very impressed if they didn't know! Heck I almost ruined it at cousin Tonia's baby shower! You all may not know this, but....I tend to talk a lot!!!!!
Click here to see MORE pictures of Liam's future wife, Madeline Rose who was born to my friend since 6th grade, Katie. Look how tiny she is! She was born, I think 5 weeks early and weighed less than 4 pounds.
Still waiting for you guys to log on as contributors, come on, you can do it!!!! Til later guys!

Liam's V-R-R-ROOM

Hey, I just realized some of y'all haven't seen Liam's room yet. Well here are some pictures of it. He seems to like it. Grandmalinda painted some of the letters, the plane and the boat. I painted the truck the same color as Daddy's truck. For now Liam still sleeps in the cradle next to the bed on Mom's side. I am going to have him start sleeping in his own room and crib at 4 months. So far his favorite piece of furniture in his room is his changing table. He always watches the stop light over it and laughs. He also loves to watch the ceiling fans so Chris got him a multi-colored one which he loves. He is still doing better today. Til later!

The Little Inch Worm

How is it that every night Liam starts out at the top of the cradle, safely wrapped in his Miracle Blanket (TM), set in his headrest and surrounded by his hold-him-in-place-thingy, yet still every morning I find him at the bottom of the cradle....Hmmm...such a mystery. Note that this is the infamous cradle all of the "C" kids frequented. Love it.
Liam is a little better this morning, he is still taking his vitamins and we are hoping he is all better soon. Grandmalinda and Grandpa B are coming next weekend!!!! We are so excited!!!! Til later guys, love you all.

Welcome to Liam's Webpage!!!!!

Liam is currently a little under the weather. Is it possible he got the bird flu from his Halloween costume? We sure hope not. Liam is now 10 1/2 weeks old and weighs 13 pounds 4 oz! Such a big boy! This blog will be dedicated to Liam's life, what he does, his stats and his family. We love you all!--Rebecca

The Corn Maze

At the beginning of this month we went to this really aMAZE-ing corn maze at a pumpkin farm, ( I stole that aMAZE-ing thing from my mom, thanks Mom!). This is also where we bought our pumpkin, and where the "unhappiest sunflower in the world" picture was taken.
