My Son the Farmer

These are what I call, "The Farmer John series." He just looks like he should have a straw hat and a corn cob pipe. Well, not a real pipe, maybe one that blows bubbles.

Some Random Adorable Photos

It has been so warm up here lately!
By afternoon little man is usually down to just a bib and diapers!

Luck O' the Irish

He looks so handsome in green. Who says it isn't easy?

He Has Crazy Hair ! ! !

Look it is a "faux-hawk" (trendy term for a fake mohawk).

Some Cute Pics of My Little Man

I wish I had a baby that was happy more of the time. This one is so grumpy.....

Valentine's Day Came Early ! ! !

Thanks Great Grandma C for the Valentine's. As you can see Liam very much enjoyed his. He is obviously a boy genius who can already read. Granted he then tried to eat the card, but hey who's to say it wasn't edible?

A Boy and His Dog(S)

Liam LOVES everything about the dogs. Now that he has better coordination, he can reach out lightening fast and grab a handful of Xena hair. Luckily she doesn't seem to mind. We've been going in the backyard these past few afternoons, and throwing the ball for Xena. Liam sits in my lap and every single time she brings the ball back, she gently puts it in Liam's lap and he races to grab some fur. It is a game for both of them and neither seems to tire of it! The above pictures are funny because, Xena, by far the smartest dog I've ever known, laid down right infront of the moving swing. Each time Liam swung forward his feet smacked her in the face. Over and over and over. I think she liked it. For sure she didn't mind. Then she licked his feet like Bailey licks Xena to make her happy. It tickled and Liam was really laughing. I expect Riley to get hit by the swing, and boy does she! But Riley doesn't expect it, even when it happens over and over and over, each time she is like, "Hi---hey you hit me! Hi--- hey you hit me! Hi---hey you hit me!" What was that saying I heard once: the definition of insantiy is doing the same thing over and over but expecting different results. Something like that.

We made some real progress today. He finally got the hang of his Johnny Jumper and seemed to really enjoy it and he did soooo good eating peaches and rice ceral today. So good in fact I cut him off. He was opening his mouth before I even had the spoon ready and hardly making a mess at all. Well... that is the many times he timed it right. Sometimes he closed his mouth right as the spoon got close and the peaches ended up all over his face. But mostly he did amazingly well. Those books way underestimated babies like Liam when they said eating solids was a skill that usually took weeks. He got it right from the very beginning. What can I say, he is a baby that takes his food very seriously! Signing off for now, I love you guys!

THE BEST PICTURE OF THE CUTEST BABY IN THE WORLD

Don't you just want to hug him!
He is laughing at Bailey in this picture. He LOOOOOOVES Bailey. Luckily I think he is growing on her!

More of the Cutest Baby in the World ! ! !

Am I biased? I think not. Look at this little guy! We got him an outdoor swing so I could push him while I throw the ball for Xena but he is actually happier down a little lower where he can watch the dogs. He does like the swing though. It has been so nice here in the afternoons. I was glad he got to wear this outfit before he out grows in a few...minutes. There are so many cute, "Onesies" that he won't ever wear because it is usually cold right now. That is ok, I will save them for the next baby! I cannot believe how fast he is changing. Right now he just discovered faces. He loves to reach out and touch your nose and your mouth, your chin and--OUCH! Sometimes an eye. Also he can reach out and grab an object so fast. No more herky jerky movements and near misses. It is incredible to watch. I have been picking up shifts on Chris' days off to help make things a little less tight and I have been soooo blessed that it has not interfered with still pretty much getting to be a stay at home Mama. Well that is all for now, love you guys!

Like Father Like Son......???

Look at Little Man flirting with an older woman! That is my friend's 2 year old, Rhyannon. I went to the park with her mom, who is a new friend from my MOMS group and her other child, a 5 year old named Ian. It was a very nice day but I was dismayed at the actions of most of the children at the playground. Exclusionary, mean, inappropriate, cliquish are just a few of the words I can use to describe them. 4 and 5 year olds. It really upset me to think that in just a few years, Liam will be running around a playground, possibly with such...well, brats! And I am reminded again at what a wonderful job, friends of mine like Sabrina, Alicia and Sara are doing with their children. I pray that at the time Liam is ready for playground romping, we are settled in a community with other Christian families. Well that is all for now, love you guys!

Thanks Grandpa B and Grandmalinda ! ! !

I had a great day at work and Liam had a great time at home. I am so sleepy so I will write more tomorrow!
