Hello All

Not much new here in Liam land. He was kind of grumpy today. Probably because I dragged him to a boring doc appt. for me. No word yet on my kidney stone.
Me, Alicia, Sean and Liam have plans to go to the zoo on Saturday weather permitting. Talk about some great pictures! I can't wait. Well, I am really tired, more later, good night.

Grandmalinda is Here!

Liam is so happy, Grandmalinda came to visit. Know what also came for a visit? Snow! And what else? Kidney stones! Boo, hiss! I was in the hospital yesterday, in horrific pain. There was no mystery, kidney stones run in my family on my dad's side. Heck my dad only has one and 1/4 of kidney left. So I was in the ER, doubled up in pain, waiting my turn and Liam is such a sweetie, laughing and jumping, entertaining the whole waiting room. We were in the waiting room for about an hour and then being examined for about 5 more hours. I had to get poked and prodded, tested and CAT scanned. "Yup, it's a kidney stone." The doc declared after many hours. Liam never cried the whole time. (I on the other hand bawled like a baby--it hurt soooooooo bad!) Liam spent most of the time watching so quietly that nurses would run tests then see him in the corner and exclaim, "Oh my gosh, I had no idea there was a baby in here!" Then he would charm them and flirt shamelessly. He did get sleepy, and as soon as Grandmalinda showed up he fell asleep in her arms. Hey! He never falls asleep in my arms unless he doesn't feel well. Earlier in the day, I went over for a visit with the pastor's wife at her house and he fell soundly asleep in her arms! He just nuzzled into her and would wake up from time to time, stare adoringly up at her and cuddle back in for more snoozing. Hurumph. So back to the stones, I don't recommend them. I hope I never have another one. Til later, goodnight!

Our Little Helper

Chris made us Monterey Jack Spaghetti and when I was reading the directions out of the cook book Liam wanted to see what I was looking at. When I was feeding him, he wanted to hold the spoon . He is such an opinionated little guy, who loves to be involved with whatever you are doing. I love every single day with him. Looking forward to going to church with him tomorrow, he really enjoys the songs. Later!

Our Snow Day...Without Snow

We had a fantastic day in the mountains looking for snow. I found a small chunk and ran back triumphantly to find Chris and Liam while I screamed, "Ooooooh it's cold, it's cold! It's melting!" Besides that, no snow! Look at that picture of Chris! It is approved, even though he doesn't usually like to be on the blog. Doesn't the back of his head look handsome? And look at my little bear! He was soooooooo good. Well, I gotta go for now, goodnight!

He is Changing Again ! ! !

Grandparents "C" you better get here quick, Liam is almost sitting up, and Chris and I agree he may skip crawling all together and go straight to running marathons. That kid loves to stand up! I had him in a walker during the Church potluck yesterday, I looked away for a second and he had shoved himself backwards several feet. He liked it when I said, "Goodbye! I'll miss you! Thanks for coming!" And then when I rolled him around he "walked" with his feet going one in front of the other even though we had never even practiced walking yet. Another new talent is Liam has learned to blow big wet rasberries, a skill he first perfected right in church! Well, I got to go eat dinner now, hugs and kisses!
