This Could Happen To You.....But Happy New Year!!!
So the above dog looks like he may have had a bit too much brewsky, my in tribute to those people out there celebrating this New Year's Eve. Me? I am celebrating by hitting the bottle... Of milk... For Liam....Ok that was way lame. This is what sleep depravation does. I am actully going to go to sleep by 10pm and praise God that I no longer live in a neighorhood where people fire their guns up in the air at Midnight.

Ralph Waldo Emerson Once Said......
"THERE WAS NEVER A CHILD SO LOVELY, but his mother was glad to get him to sleep"
We are definitely still working out the kinks of bedtime. I wanted his bedtime to be 10pm, he changed it to 9pm. I changed it to 9pm he moved it back to 8pm. Now he is trying for 7pm but I am holding onto 8pm BECAUSE he gets up 12 hours later on the dot and I am NOT a morning person. He still cries himself to sleep every night but at least now he is down to about 20 minutes. I myself, would give my prize oxen for one night of uninterrupted sleep.

Auntie Lu and Aunt Nanners Came to Visit!
My Auntie Lu and Liam's Aunt Nanners (Brianna) came a'callin yesterday. We had so much fun. Liam flirted like crazy with Nanners, but he ADORED my Auntie Lu. Nanners has a special place in my heart because she was and is the closest family member I have, who is more like a sister than a cousin. I always said, cousins by blood, friends by choice and I adore her. My Auntie Lu and I have a special connection, (I hope she agrees!) because she was with me every step of the way through out trying to have a baby, pregnancy and birth. Not like in person but in spirit, prayers and through email. I love her very much and hope she knows she is hands down my favorite, closest aunt. Yesterday really was so much fun and so awesome to see them. I felt very special that they came all that way just to see....well Liam, but me too!!!!

First Batch of Runners Up
So Hard To Choose!!!
So today I ordered my Christmas photo cards. It was so hard to pick! (You will have to wait and see!) I have enclosed the runners up. I noticed, the less clothes he had on was directly proportional to how happy he was!
So Liam no longer sleeps in the cradle next to our bed (wah!!!!) He moves around so much he was slamming his legs and arms into the sides. He now sleeps in his big boy crib and is no longer swaddled!!! I found allowing him access to his hands makes it so he can soothe himself back to sleep---sometimes. Next week I will try to let him cry himself back to sleep for one of the 2 middle of the night feedings. Hope you enjoy the pictures! Loving you all.

Flip It to The "B" Side
So next we, (Liam and I), took the train to the "B" Clan. Liam was so good on the train! He never cried. People would walk by and say, "Oh my gosh, I had no idea there was a baby right near me!" I was so proud of him. Walking around the train with him was a nightmare because on a good day I can fall over for no reason, my balance is so bad. Now add 16 pounds and the rocking train and it was not a good combo. Also the bathrooms were not designed for parents of babies. The changing table came out over the toilet so how was one to go?
In the pictures, notice the matching shoes Liam and his Uncle Matt have on. The picture of my dad holding up the green face, was a kleenex holder my mom bought a year ago for my dad. He started radiation, by the way, and he is doing just fine. Well, that is all for now. Liam is watching one of the baby einstein DVDs Grandmalinda got him and so far he has sat watching it for 20 minutes.
Derek-isms
Our friends, Doug, Sara and Derek came
over to the C's to meet Liam. Doug and Chris went to High School together, and Sara and I really hit it off when we met. I got to see Sara when she was pregnant with Derek, then we visited her in the hospital after delivery. The last time I saw Derek he was 2! Luckily we have stayed in touch. So here are some of the neat, or funny things Derek said:
"I want this baby."
"Liam can play with......um.....this." And out of all his toys hands Liam a flat plastic palm tree.
"There was a llama and a dragon..."
"He has really big knees."
"I want to hold him, but I was playing with the dog so I have to wash my hands!" Such a good boy!
"That is a bad thing to say!" (Scolding me for saying shut up)
and finally, my personal favorite:
"Mama that baby eats a lot of cookies, huh?"

The Mom Wins!!!!!!
So I can't post pictures from here, but I wanted to let you know, I won the bet of how much Liam weighs. (Great Gma, Gma C and Gpa C and I bet on this.) He weighs 16 pounds!!! I can't weight (tee hee) to post pictures tomorrow of both of the trips, in the mean time I "stole" a picture off of my mom's computer of my brother and I. Matt made a really neat T-Shirt for Liam, designed and airbrushed by him. He also bought him some real Levi's "already cuffed" and some black converse high tops that matched his own. I'll attach those tomorrow. Loving you all, bye!
