I Am Sorry I Do Not Understand Your Response---Please Try Again


Today, I was trying to get through to a live person at the phone company. It went a little something like this:

Automated Voice: Hello, to better assist you please say your phone number.

Me: It is---

Liam: Whooooooooooooo!

Automated Voice: I am sorry I do not understand your response--please try again.

Me: My phone number is 123----

Liam: Aaaaaaaahhhhhhh-goo

Automated: I am sorry--

Liam: Ahhhhhhhhhh!

Me: Operator please

Automated: I am sorry----

Liam: Guuuuuuuuuuh

Automated: I am sor---

Liam: Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuh!

Automated: Let me connect you to an operator

Me: Gee, ya think?

Liam: Whooooooooo!
